Thank you for visiting the Deshler Career Technical Center website.
I am honored to serve as Principal and Career Technical Director for Deshler Career Techncial Center. As a proud 1996 graduate of Deshler High School and with 19 years serving in Career Technical Education, I am deeply committed to the success of our students, our school, and our community. Born and raised in Colbert County, I take great pride in helping prepare the next generation of Tigers for meaningful futures. I am married to Sammy Mize and have one son, Blake Faulkner, a 2017 graduate of Deshler High School. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, reading, cooking, traveling, and decorating my home.
At Deshler Career Technical Center, our mission is to prepare students for success beyond high school by connecting classroom learning to real-world career opportunities. We work intentionally to educate students about the wide range of career pathways available to them while equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and credentials needed to thrive in a competitive workforce.
