National Technical Honor Society (NTHS)

The National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) recognizes outstanding students who have demonstrated excellence in Career and Technical Education (CTE). Membership is reserved for Juniors and Seniors, who excel academically, demonstrate leadership, exhibit strong character, and are committed to developing the technical and professional skills needed for success in college, military service, and the workforce.

At Deshler Career Technical Center, the National Technical Honor Society celebrates students who have distinguished themselves through achievement in their career pathway while modeling responsibility, integrity, and service. Members are encouraged to give back to their school and community through leadership opportunities, service projects, and career readiness activities.

NTHS membership provides students with valuable benefits, including scholarship opportunities, national recognition, networking opportunities, and access to resources that support continued education and career advancement. Through the National Technical Honor Society, students are recognized not only for what they have accomplished in the classroom but also for the positive impact they make as future leaders in their chosen careers.
