Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG) is a nationally recognized program dedicated to helping students develop the academic, personal, leadership, and employability skills needed for success after high school. The program prepares students for college, career training, military service, and the workforce through a combination of classroom instruction, career exploration, leadership development, and hands-on learning experiences.

At Deshler Career Technical Center, JAG empowers students to build confidence, set meaningful goals, and develop essential workplace skills such as communication, teamwork, critical thinking, problem-solving, professionalism, and financial literacy. Students participate in leadership conferences, community service projects, career development events, employer visits, and work-based learning opportunities that connect classroom learning with real-world careers.

JAG students also have the opportunity to compete in regional, state, and national Career Development Conferences, where they showcase their leadership abilities and career readiness skills. With the support of dedicated instructors and business partners, JAG helps students graduate prepared to become productive citizens and successful leaders in their communities.
